I’ve been knitting since my grandmother came to america and all i could do were cast ons. 6 years ago, my friends and I learned how to knit during our free period in high school and from that, the entire school went knitting crazy! (i went to a small, all-girls school) I really wanted to knit a hat for my pen pal in portugal! I don’t know how cold it gets there but I planned on knitting him a scarf but a matching hat wouldn’t hurt 🙂

I’ve only been knitting for a year i also know how to crochet but i taught myself how to knit and crochet reading books.
I would probably make the hat for myself since im moving in the dorms at my college in two months and its freezing where my college is, so you can never have to many hats!

Hi my name is Rebel. I leaned to crochet from one grandmother and I learned to knit from the other grandmother. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn such a rewarding hobby while I was young. I made my husband a knitted scarf with a chain/braid down the center. It was so rewarding even though I had to pull it out many times because I made mistakes.
