    Amy asked in a comment on my last post what kind of yarns were shown in the picture. Here they are all laid out. I have more but these my favorites out of what I just received.     Merry Christmas!

    I managed to snap this  photo of my daughter, Fiona, in front of the Christmas tree wearing a headband I am working on. I might just let her keep it! Maybe this pattern will be sized for mother and daughter. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I will try to get pictures of the snow to post at a later time. Now for relaxing and enjoying my family…and maybe some Pumpkin Pancakes…yum!

    Thanksgiving and More

    Happy Thanksgiving! I know it is several days late but I was not at home. I visited my parents in San Diego and got to work at their coffee shop. I have missed working in a shop environment. Also all the girls who work in the shop are wearing either my flower headband ear warmers or the Britta Lalena headwrap. They look amazing in them OF COURSE! So now that I am home I have been working on the STRICTLY KNIT Flower Headband Earwarmer.     Pattern Preview

    My newest pattern is almost finished. It will be for both handspun yarn and regular worsted weight yarn. I used Malabrigo and can I just say it is the most fantastic yarn ever! It is incredibly soft and the colors are wonderful! I made both a light salmon-ish colored one and a gray one. This hat is incredibly comfortable I would wear it every day if it weren’t 85 degrees outside. However when winter rolls around I will be wearing it lots. Here is the hand spun version. This was my first knit of the pattern so the next few will look different. It is in the test knitting process…
