I am so in love with the new trend of hand made and vintage. It makes it so easy to re-purpose jewelry, and to keep up with fashion on a tight budget. I have been wanting to re-make or improve a few items. Specifically I wanted to make some metal pieces look oxidized. My sister, the world traveler, is in the states for a month or two and has been visiting me. We are like minded in our love of photography. My sister Natalie is a, singer, dancer, writer, actress, and photographer. We both love fashion and creative photo shoots. So I have been thinking a lot lately about what inspires me. Usually Winter is the time I spend creating constantly. Summer, usually is my time to absorb. So the long awaited post is here! Time to “Do it Yourself!” No need to pay the steep prices for getting feather extensions in. Feather extensions can be washed curled and flat ironed. So I saw these scissors on a Japanese version of Amazon a while back and recently I decided to try purchasing something for the site. I was NOT disappointed!
